CAREERS:FLYING

Introduction:
I'm going to tell you about what career I'm going to do and how I'm going to do them also how I'm going to get the job.I will tell you information about the job so you can be a pilot too.

How do I get the job:
First of I need to be at least 18 years old, that's because I can get an NZ private pilot license(which I can get when I am 17.)I have to pass a class one medical exam and a third class medical exam.I have complete 200 hours experience and complete an FAA exam.I to find an instructor so he or she can teach me how to fly properly.I also have to know how to properly use maps.

Skills:
I have to be good at english, maths, computer studies and physics.Got to have some good hearing and eyesight.I have to have great reflexes and coordination because I have to know where I am going and if anything goes wrong I have to react fast to resolve the problem.I obviously have to have good flying skills.Have to have the knowledge of safety rules and emergency procedures.

What do I do in a day:
I calculate how much fuel I need for the plane so I can get to my destination safely without running out of gas and crashing. The other thing when I'm on the job is that I have to agree to work in bad conditions (only sometimes.)The conditions I have to work in is windy weathers and probably expect some turbulence on very difficult weather. You have to make your passengers stay calm when there is bad weather,to make them stay calm you need to lt them know that it's OK and we are not going to crash. When I become a pilot I have to work 40 hours a week so that's about 1900 hours a year. When I'm flying then I am eating, updating charts, checking the weather, checking the paper work etc.

Conclusion:
That is what I want to be when I grow up and that's all the skills I need to get the job.I also have to do all those things to be prepared and to be more better and great at the job.
